July 2026 brought a new command-line workflow, more wallet choices, and improvements to signing, policy controls, and mobile integrations.

WDK CLI launch. The first public beta adds encrypted local wallet storage, a wallet daemon, and an MCP server for AI clients. Keep wallet unlocking and transaction confirmation under application and operator control.

More wallet options. Aptos joins the official wallet modules. The community-maintained RGB Lightning beta.15 adds Lightning and RGB workflows backed by a native node, with platform-specific peers and persistent state requirements.

Signing and protocol flows. Wallet releases expand support for quoting and submitting signed payloads. EVM adds signer-backed accounts, TRON accepts arbitrary transactions, and ERC-4337 adds opt-in nonce lanes. Signed transactions remain subject to nonce, fee, and validity constraints.

Policies and developer tooling. Core beta.15 adds policy registration and SDA support; create-wdk-module adds matching scaffolding. WDK Utils adds derivation helpers, mnemonic-share support, and address dispatch, including a breaking Bitcoin result-shape change.

Routing and mobile. Rhino.fi and Symbiosis updates improve Swidge integrations. React Native and worklet releases add protocol access, generic modules, transports, and Swidge support; check each release’s installation and runtime requirements.
